Alyson Foote, Registered Dietitian Nutritionist, is Project Manager for the Food Systems and Access Team at Dairy Council of California. Dedicated to supporting the health of children, Alyson is deeply committed to creating opportunities for families to live healthier lifestyles. In her role at Dairy Council of CA, Alyson manages the development, implementation and evaluation of plans, strategies and budgets for projects and programs related to Smarter Lunchrooms Movement of California, food access programs like Summer Meals Programs and WIC and more.

Alyson is a member of the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics as well as its Hunger and Environmental Nutrition Dietetic Practice Group and its School Nutrition Services Dietetic Practice Group. She earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Biochemistry and Dietetics from the Memorial University of Newfoundland, Canada, and completed her dietetic internship at the Health Care Corporation of St. John’s, also in Newfoundland.
